Humanitarian procurement specifies against published shelter standards rather than by tent description, with covered area per person, fabric weight, water column and UV resistance all stated and checked. A tent that meets the area requirement on thinner fabric will not pass. We quote to the named standard and supply the fabric test results with the consignment.
We manufacture Relief Tents in bulk in China and supply it against government tenders and public-sector framework contracts across Africa and South America, to the specification and quantity the tender sets. What the carton actually weighs and measures, taken from the same data sheet. Freight is quoted on volume as often as on weight, so these are the numbers a forwarder asks for first.

Specifying Relief Tents
Most delays on an equipment order come from a spec that was agreed too loosely. These are the points we confirm in writing before anything is manufactured.
Send your specification- Capacity and duty cycle. Throughput per hour and how many hours a day the Relief Tents will actually run. Continuous duty and intermittent duty are different machines.
- Power supply. Voltage, phase and frequency at the site. Getting this wrong after shipment is expensive to correct.
- Site conditions. Ambient temperature, humidity, dust and available floor space or headroom.
- Standards and certification. Whatever the buyer, tender or customs authority in the destination country requires.
- Spares and consumables. What wears, how often, and what we ship with the machine so the first year runs without a stoppage.
- Installation scope. Whether you need supply only, or supply with installation, testing and commissioning on site.
